sending Alerts/Notifications to Manager Self-Service (Universal Worklist)

Hi Experts,

I am new to SAP workflow and need to customize an HR Workflow.

Can anyone suggest how I can send an alert / a notification to manager self-service ?

What step type should be used ?

Hi,

As per you thread what i understood is you need to send the workitems and notifications to the UWL of the manager.

For that you can use the normal activity step type and in the expression you need to pass the manager id to whom it should be routed to(or you can fetch the manager from the rule).

All you need to do is to send the workitem to the sap inbox.

Portal should be configured in a such a way that wat all routed to sap inbox will be displayed in the portal.
