Log configuration

Hi,

i'm experiencing some weird problems with my log configuration being changed. I deploy a log configuration that has categories and locations - both are deployed with severity set to ALL !

1. My log location seems to be reset to ERROR upon restart of the server whereas the category remains as deployed

2. The location severity appears to overwrite the category severity as only ERROR messages are being written.

Destinations are all set to severity ALL!

Any help on this ? e.g.: is it possible to have the location NOT being reset to ERROR !?

Hi,

In the Installed server folder,Under "log" folder

please find a Log Configuration guide and Log viewer.

usr\sap\<SAPSID>\DVEBMGS<xx>\.....\log\go.bat

Check if Log viewer and Log configuration guide can help you.
