Inspection lot creation

Hi

I am using inspection type 03 . Just as we have the SPRO setting ,where we define lot should be created when movement type 101 happens for 01 ,where do we define for 03 when the lot should be created ?

Hi Sankar,

Inspection type 03 is stock ir-relevant, so it can't refer the any movement type. It get triggered as we releases the Order.

03 Inspection type not relevant to any movement type. It is with respect to production order release.

For that no need to assign any mvt type and also no SPRO.

Hi,Sankar

It's SAP STD, we just need to activate the inspection type 03 for the material master and rest settings are automated and ready made from SAP.

But if you have your own customized inspection type then you should maintained it at SPRO->Production Planning for Process Industries->Process Order--->Define Order Type-Dependent Parameters execute and reach up to the screen "Define Order Type-Dependent Parameters" for a Plant-Order type combination. Where in the "Planning" tab there is field "Inspection type".
