DSO-Partitioning

Hi,

We are partitioning the DSO , while doing this we get to see three types of partitions like HASH,LIST,RANGE.

Could any one describe about each partition.

Hi,

I have one more query with me. While doing partitioning where we will give the partition number like say if we ahve 20000 records we would have 5 partitions say each partition has 4000 records.

Pls help me in this regard.
