Link between VBAP-OBJNR and JEST-OBJNR

Hi all,

I got a requirement to write a report which update the status of Sales Documents also in position level.

I goin to use STATUS_CHANGE_INTERN function modul.

The problem is the field OBJNR is mostly empty in the Table VBAP.

Can anyone explain me, where and which time point will this field filled ?

Hi,

VBAP- OBJNR field will be filled only when you maintain WBS element/cost center or other cost objects in sales order.

VBAP - OBJNR / JEST-OBJNR filed is avialable in PRPS-OBJNR table also.

VBUK is sales document header status

VBUP sales document item status.

thanks you for your post, it was really helpfull.

One additional question: Do you seen any risk, if I fill this field manually (means in my report).

And after that i will able to set also the new status based on JEST table.
