Hi All,

What is new G/L? what is the concept behind new G/L? wht is the difference between normal ledger, special purpose ledger and new G/L? Please tell me the details for new G/L.

You may also search this forum - search term "classic vs. new GL" - you will get a lot of hits and quite some of them are good.

The major change/advantage in New GL is that it saves us from doing the cumbersome customizing of Special Purpose Ledger. Document splitting and Real-Time Integration of CO with FI are two more important features in New GL.
