Hello all,
I have the following problem, I am trying to warmup the cache by broadcasting a query (cache enabled) with a variant on a data change event. So far so good.
But in the cache monitor (RSRT) there is a entry created for the query but no (Hierarchies/Variables) folder below this enty. So when I run this query with BEX using the same variant. it does not use the cache.
When the BEX query is finished, in RSRT (Hierarchies/Variables) folder is created and executing the query again, you can see now the cache is used. :?
So my question why does the broadcaster doesn't fill the cache properly?
We are on BW3.5 Level 20.
Please advise.
How many app servers do you have - unless you have configured cross app server cache - the precalc could be filling another app servers cache
In addition - have you got a clear cache job running? And have you loaded data after to make the cache dirty?
