No Change Log for exchange rates

Hi All,

There is no change log for exchange rate table. How do i check history and changes made to exchange rate table?

Hi Kevin,

You are right. There is no change log for exchange rate table. If you want to keep track of the changes, you options are:

1. Do not give authorization to most users for this function. The chance the rate be changed should be lowered.

2. Run a daily query Select * From ORTT. Output to excel and save the query results in a folder to help you to find the change for user signiture.

Thanks for your reply. I have tried that using the "Select * from ORTT" query but if the exchange rates entered is removed, then the query result won't show any result on which user that removed the exchange rate.

Is there any other way?

There is no other choise as of now. But you know which date the rate had been deleted so that you got smaller posibilities. You can also setup you profiler up to trace everything for your database to save all the trace file offsite.

As a general rule, no user should delete any exchange rates. This is a training or control procedure issue.
