Can any bady let us know what is ARE documents RG Dcouments in terms of Abreviations and purpose of these documents, and which business casese we are using those things.

- RG23A : Part1.Quality, Consumables

Part2.Value Updation

- RG23C : Part1: Quality Capital Goods (Capital Goods)

Part2: Value (Capital Goods)

- PLA : Personal Ledger A/C.

The registers will update

- RG23A : Consumables

- RG23C : Capital Goods

- RG23D : Report Books

- PLA : Cash Payments/Cash Deposits

- RG1 : Stock Register (Finished Goods)

Hi Janardhan,

After Billing- Excise Invoice- then you need to update RG1 registers,i.e , the Removal of Goods from your plant (the excise duties paid and also update PLA register for PLA duties paid).

Then you will go for J2IUN-Monthly utilisation.

In the case of Exports under bond and Deemed exports (ARE1 and ARE3), there will be some exemptions so you need to get the duties back from the excise department or show them that how much duties exempted under bond or licenses.i.e Application for Removal of Excise duties. 1 and 3.
