Time mgmt : two work schedules for one employee

Hi Gurus,

I am implementing positive time and have a requirement where, an employee can choose his shift out of two shifts available.

Ex: Morning shift 0700 hrs till 1900 hrs

Evening shift 1900 hrs till 0700 hrs next morning.

Requirement :

If an employee chooses morning shift his attendance should be updated as of the planned shift i.e. 0700 hrs till 1900 hrs and if he chooses evening shift his attendance should be updated as per 1900 hrs till 0700 hrs next day.

Any number of hrs before start of planned shift should not account to an attendance and should be ignored.

pls guide how can I achieve this..

this is very well possible in sap, but little bit configeration required, its called in sap

Hi.. Please use Substitutions. That would solve your requirement. Moreover, that is also available in ESS
