multiple currency payroll under same company

Dear Experts,

I need a suggestion and advice on payroll related issue I have issue of multiple currencies.

We have a pay roll with base currency with AED and all employeesu2019 payroll has run till last month in AED, now business required separate payroll area for a set of employees with different currency OMR, where periodicity and pay dates are same monthly. But, both are under same company.

I have configured separate Personal area, subarea, Pay scale area and type and assigned default currency and maintained currency entries in T500W (Valid Country Currencies) and T500C (Currency for Public Service Sector). But, when I ran payroll amt is still showing in AED but not in OMR.

I have doubt can we have different currency payrolls under same company.

Request you all if anyone have come across this kind of situation, please suggest how and what else should be configured. It would be great help.

Please choose the default currency of the payscale area/ type to the required one. Normally we need to create a new payscale area/ type for a different currency payment
