Hi,
My problem is related to PIR reduction. Scenario is as below
Strategy 70, for Assembly, I enter PIR.
Strategy 40, for Final Product. (Sales order received).
I do production of Assembly, and consume it in Final Product order through back flash.
Expectation is, along with 261 movement, PIR of Assembly should reduce - which is not happening.
Surprisingly if I issue the Assembly with mov. 201 to cost center, PIR reduction happens.
Where could be the flaw!
Please advice,
Abir.
I met a same issue. Then I change MRP3-Mixed MRP to "1", it works, PIR is reduced.

Hello Abir,
As Mr.Rajesh said, in planning strategy 70, PIR of assembly will be consumed by production order or planned order requirements of Final product.
Please check with requirement type of PIR created for assembly, for planning strategy 70 , it should be VSFB.
whenever assembly got the dep requirement from final product it will consume the PIR of assembly , there is no link of PIR reduction with Goods issue. Please check and come back

Dear,
Please note that with stg 70, PIR will get reduced when you get dependent requirementa nd not on issue of material.
I hope you must have changed the std setting.
example
PIR for 100 for assembly
After running MRP
PIR -100
Planned order +100
Now you have run MRP for final product, which gave the dependent requirement to assembly of say 75.
Then in MD04 you will see following entry
PIR -25
Dep req from final assembly -75
Planned order +100
This is nothing to do with consumption with 261/201.
pl simulate the above scenario and come back
