How to Apply OSS Note in DEMOSYSTEM?

When applying oss note via SNOTE, I encounter error: "Error in remote connection to destination SAPOSS: RFC destination SAPOSS does not exist.". What is the procedure in applying OSS note via SNOTE in ABAP trial version?
Another option is to download the corrections via SAP ServiceMarketplace and import it to SNOTE; however I do not have access to SAP Service MarketPlace.

My first guess is that you'll need an OSS account for using SNOTE directly so if you do not have access to the service marketplace you're kind of stuck.
But if you're working with SAP surely someone in your company has an OSS account and can download the note for you?
