Difference Between PI 7.0 and PI 7.1

Can anyone give idea about the difference between 7.0 and 7.1 P Versions

PI 7.1 is based on Enterprise SOA which has many features than existing PI 7.0.

1) Integration Repository is replaced by Enterprise Service Repository which consists of Enterprise Process Builder and Services registery.

2) Advanced Adapter Engine

Using this Mapping and routing can be done in Adapter engine and Bypassing Intergration Engine so it reduces process time

3) Function Libraries

All the user defined functions are stored in function libraries and can be accessed easily.

4) Direct Connection

It is provided in Integration Directory and supports direct connection between sender and receiver through Integration server.

5) Mapping Enhancements

it supports Parameter Mapping i.e, you can use parameters in Mapping program and provide values in runtime

6) Validation of data

In sender agreement you have a option to validate the Incoming data so this helps to Improve efficiency.

7) Message Interfaces are replaced by Service Interfaces

A service interface can perform many operations and here after we do not see term Interface mapping it is called Operation Mapping.

There are many new features available in ccBPM.

There are many diffrence in PI and PI7.1

1. Core data Type concept.

2. Message interface become service interface.

3.IR become ESR

4.XML Validation option avilable at Adapter Engine(File would be picked if valid,this can be checked on Adapter Engine)
