I am new to Portals . I am trying to locate Sim, Avi and PDF files on market place to learn Portals
Could anyone help me to locate the same .

The above already does provide you with the links to documents about the Portal. Thus I will not repeat it.
My opinoin on the best way to learn about the Portal is to work on it. And to play with it, the best way is to have a sneak preview version install on your local hardware. This way, you will get a chance to work with the Portal and learn more about its tips and tricks along the way.
Below are some interesting Blogs/links about sneak preview. Hope they will come useful to you
If you do a search in the forum with "Portal sneak preview", you will get tons of hits on Blogs and threads.
Of course, you will need the above mentioned documents on Portal to get an overview on its strucutre and functions, after which you can just dive into your locally installed sneak preview Portal to have a look and feel.
