Hello SDN Users,
I have created a custom FPM application using the Self Service Administrator Role for usability in MSS. Every thing now looks good in the Development portal and I would like transport the FPM application to other portals (test and prod).
I have a couple of questions:
1. How should I transport a custom FPM application from one portal to other portal? (The problem that I see is that, if I create an FPM application or an FPM View in any folder in the PCD through the Self Service Administrator role, the content of the folder is only visible if I am in this role. Can we create a transport package similar to other PCD content for transporting an FPM application/ FPM view?)
2. Do I need to configure the AppIntegrator service in other portals as well ? (In theory, I will not be using Self Service Administrator role in other portals. I will just transport the content created in development portal to test and prod portals)
Please share your experience ....
Thank You,
Salome

Hello Salome,
We are also trying to Transport FPM objects....we actually modified the Enter Object in the Self Service Administrator to kepp the calendar in the TimeSheet Application collapsed by default....now when we copy the modified object and transport it ...it does not seem to take into effect........
Please help.
Salome,
Just create a PCD transport package the same as you normally would for iViews etc, but include your custom FPM applications instead.
I've done this many times before and it works perfectly.
Regards,
John
