Drop Ship check box on warehouse

Hello all, I have a new installation of B1 (2007a) and need to create a Drop Ship Warehouse, but the checkbox is unavailable. any ideas why? Or, what i need to do to make it available? Thanks!

I believe by checkbox is unavailable you mean it is greyed out.

When you open the Warehouse definition window, the Nettable box is checked. Please uncheck Nettable and Drop Ship will be enabled.

here is the solution for your answer:

Drop Ship Select this option to define the warehouse as a drop ship warehouse. Use when the company does not manage inventory, but receives commission for every order.
 Note
Drop ship warehouses cannot be used for serial or batch items.
No stock postings are recorded when selecting drop-ship warehouses in documents

Hi Kathy,

Drop ship warehouse has to meet the following conditions:

1. Do not manage inventory, only for commision purpose.

2. Do not used for serial or batch items.

Check which one conficts with your other setting like item & warehouse setting or in G/L determination and so on.
