Hi,

When I go to Maintain Categories and Hierarchy(Comm_Hierarchy) and click on start I am not able to see the Backend categories. Anybody have any idea. I checked all Techincal basic settings (RFC, ALE etc.,). They are good.

Am I missing something here.

Thanks

Rao.

Khan, Muthu thanks for reply.

Data is not there in thos tables for the client. Also I don't want to create local categories.

I want to get backend categories.

I tried to run SAP Menu -> Tools -> Middleware:Basis -> DataExchange -> Initial Load -> Start (Product: Categories).

Its taking for ever to run. Still no luck.

Thanks

Rao

And there are no filters defined at r3ac1.

And there are no BDoc messages.

I checked all ALE/IDoc setting defined as per the blog. Till now I didn't found any thing missing.

With Initial load I started these requests.

Hi Rao,

Just to clarify. You need to run SMQ2 (outbound) in the backend system and SMQ1 in the SRM system to check the status of the replication. Usually, it is via SMQ2 in the backend system that you will see the error.

You might just want to restart your replication and immediately run SMQ2 in the backend system to monitor the run (if you have not already done so). Just remember to ensure that you original replication job is already stopped and any entries in SMQ1 and SMQ2 cleared before re-running the replication.

backend product categories are to be replicated from R/3 System --> then they will be available for you to view in the transaction 'comm_hierarchy'.

you can create local product categories --> directly --> even if there are no backend categories replicated....
