Hi.. guys
please explain the STO overview( types, pricing control,
hi types
If you are using one step do it through 351 movements.
If it is a two step process through delivery
do delivery through VL10B
goods issue through VL02N
and then do the migo with 101 movements in the receiving plant
There is Stock transport order (STO), usually required for
transfering stock from plant to plant and from Co. to Co.
In STO, plant to plant transfers, you have minimum (3)options:
1. STO with m/type 351 and 101 (w/o SD delivery)
2. STO with m/type 641 and 101 (with SD delivery)
3. STO with m/type 643 and 101 (with SD delivery and w/o billing)

hi,
Pricing for STO PO Type (For e.g. UB); (MM)
SPRO > MM > Purchsing > Conditions > Define Price Determination Process > Define Schema Determination > Determine Schema for Stock Transport Orders > Here for combination of schema group purchasing organization, STO Doc Type, Supplying Plant, assign Calculation Schema RM2000 i.e. Stock Transfer Document
Create the Condition record in VK11 transaction with Condition type PI01-- Inter company price.
Maintain the data for key combination Sales org/Plant/Material.
Then infuture for this material system will pick the price automatically from the condition record from VK11
thanks

hi
The stock transfer process begins with a requirement to transfer material from one plant to another within the same company code. This request, a stock transfer requisition, may be created automatically by MRP in the procuring plant, or manually by a buyer.
Advantages of the Stock Transport Order
The transfer of stock using a stock transport order has the following advantages over the transfer of stock without a stock transport order:
● A goods receipt can be planned in the receiving plant.
● You can enter a vendor (freight vendor) in the stock transport order.
● Delivery costs can be entered in the stock transport order.
● The stock transfer order is part of MRP: Purchase requisitions that were created in MRP can be converted into stock transport orders.
● The system can run an availability check for the stock transfer.
