1. By any chance are you running SAP GUI on Citrix session ? Which means Excel must be installed on the Cirtix Server

2. While installing SAP GUI on the PC (if you are using SAP GUI on std PC), did you select check box where you have interagtion componets(EXCEL/ MS Office integration) and also have atleast GI patch 2 for GUI 710 ( or good to have current patch level 9 .

Hope this helps,

Krishna

Amit,

Ask Basis team team to install GUI on the work station with ADD-ON's option, then only you will be able to see the excel view...

Hope this will resolve your problem.

Hi,

Is Excel installed on the host ?

if yes which version of excel you are using?

if you are using office 2003 then do following

open office excel -> tools -> macro -> security

security level -> medium

trusted sources -> check trust access to visual basic project.

if you are using office 2007 then do following

Click on Office button -> Click excel options -> trust center -> trust center settings -> macro settings -> check Trust access to VBA project object model

HI,

When you try to open the list , ms excel is opened or you get some other message?

Manu,

This is because of below 2 reasons

1) MS excel macro security will be medium and select "Trust access to Visual Basic Project" in the Trsusted Sources Tab.

2) When Basis team install GUI on the work station, they should select the ADD-ON's option, then only you will be able to see the excel view....Looks like this is the one you dont have on your work station.

Let me know if you need more information.
