PO release mail

Hi,

When the purchase order is released in the T code.The notification should be sent to the next level which is maintained in the T code and the message should be stored in SAP Mail box of next hirercheal level whom The PO should be released

As our client is maintaining 8 maximum levels to release th PO.

Is it the concept of workflows?? or any configuration can be done

If I understood your question correcly, yes...you need to configure the PO release strategy under SPRO.

There is N-step approval workflow for PO.
