PROBLEM with BRTOOLS

Hi ,

when i am trying to Execute Brtools command from start>run>cmd>brtools giving me an error

**This error is on Kernel 620 sap 4.7**

BR377E BRTOOLS call failed

    • This error is on Kernel 640, ECC6.0****

Dear Gibbs you r using 4.7 .BRLOOLS will not run . SAPDBA will run.

type sapdba in command prompt

In ecc6 BRTOOLS will run fine.

this is the error i am getting while i execute Brtools in Ecc6.0 , what shd i do

Hi gibbs,

This is because it is not able to get path for the exucutable brtools that is in kernel directory.

Login to the system as <sid>adm

or first execute command

path= <path of the kernel directory>

Then execute brtools it will work.

BRTOOLS runs in 4.7.

Hi,

Pl check if the BRTOOLS exe file is there in the usr\sap\D01\SYS\exe\run folder or not. If it is there in the command prompt change to that directory i.e. instead of C:\>brtools write C:\> ....usr\sap\D01\SYS\exe\run\brtools.exe and see if it runs. If it runs then check the environmental variables SAPEXE is set or not.

SAPEXE = .....\usr\sap\D01\SYS\exe\run .

Pl award suitably if helpful.

Hi,

Login with <SID>ADM user and the run the BRTOOLS .it will work.
