Print server software on xxxx-xx.xx.xx.com' may be not running

Hello Gurus,

Good day!

I would like to seek an assitance from you guys in resolving this issue.

Upon collecting printer status information in UNIX level there's an error in printer server "Print server software on xxxx-xx.xx.xx.com' may be not running" but, I was able to ping this remote system name.

What shall I do in order to resolve this issue?

Please advice.

The spooler daemon doesn´t seem to run on the remote server. Logon and start it.

What do you mean spooler daemon? The SAPLPD?

Can be SAPLPD (if the remote system is Windows), can be any spooler daemon or output software that will take the spool requests (lpd, LPRng, CUPS, whatever...)
