Unable to log into CMC locally from server

I am able to log in CMC/Infoview to http://chcreport/businessobjects/enterprise115/WebTools/adminlaunch/default.aspx from any machine EXCEPT the local server (CHCREPORT) that it is running on. I have a .NET installation. I have SSO enabled. I've modifed hosts file to redirect chcreport to 127.0.0.1 but that did not work.

Any ideas?

A lot of times servers have microsoft enhanced security installed to prevent damage via internet browser. This can prevent users from performing SSO.

It could also be a local security issue.

Can you log a message with support so an engineer could webex/netview and take a look at your server?
