We are planning to build custom Dashboards using WEBI. The requirement is to call a WEBI document from a browser. For example I must be able to open a browser and type in Dashboard1 which will display my custome build dashboard. Is there any way we can display a WEBI document in a browser. We dont want to use INFOVIEW. The requirement is little different as the users dont want to log in every time they want to access the Dashboard. They want to open a browser and type in a webaddress which will display a dashboard. Any input will be of great help.
Hi,
For your situation you would need to make use of the SDK and develop custom pages called by your url entry.
OR
You could set up SSO in your environment and configure the preferences to open the users default dashboard from they can navigate from. With SSO, no login would be required, and the user is taken to the dashboards.
Hope this helps
Jacques
