I understand that it is possible to set up a substitution profile so that certain WF documents go to a substitute, while other's don't
(https://forums.sdn.sap.com/click.jspa?searchID=16809306&messageID=5957127)
"In your example just create one class "Leave requests".
Assign that class to a substitution profile "Leave request".
Assign the leave request approval tasks to the class "Leave request".
Then tell your users to choose the "Leave request" substitution profile when they define a susbstitute. This way only the leave request approvals will be delegated, and your appraisal approvals will not be delegated."
The question I have is how/where do you assign the leave request approval tasks to a class AND is there a way that you can assign ALL tasks to a class, and leave out leave request tasks...
Hi,
When you create & attach a new Task Class to an Substitution profile, you can view this class in the task. Go to Additional Data>Agent Assnt.>Maintain->Attributes tab. YOu will see CLASSIFICATION.
Hope this helps

I think this can be done from the Task Attribute. You will get lots of thread how to set a Task as General and from that screen you can Classify your task.
Thanks
