object type in ta sotr_edit

Former Member

hi,

what is the object type in the transaction sotr_edit for?

I use otr texts in web dynpro and used 'WDYV' (WD view) and in a class method I use otr texts and use as object type 'CPUB'.

I don´t know why to enter this object type?

what is the difference if I take 'WDYV' or 'CPUB'?

is it only the place where I will use the otr text?
