POstings in JE

Hi All,

see is there any possibilities to hav the Journal entry posted in single line.

where am now is, Deposit. while performing a deposition of 10 checks at a time am getting only 2 accounts lines 1 credit and another debit.

when depositing for the 5 credit card deposition, i am getting 10 lines in JE. is there a way to similarly to checks deposition?

The number of lines in JE posting is decided by system. Depending on your CoA, BP setup, ,,, there are some many factors affecting it. Why do you care so much about the numbers of line?

Dear Gordan,

we face little problems while we do BRS. by tht time we need to search for the particular postings during reconciliation. so only i need the JE to be posted in only 2 lines.

any help?

Zen,

The system behaviour of how the JE is posted could not be changed. I do realize your situation...I would recommend using the Ref1 field which contains the Deposit Number. This will be the same for all Credit Card JE's.
