Availability check

hello Xperts:

stock of material XYZ is there in plant 0001 of 200 qty.

created 1st sales order of 100 qty but not delivered.

created 2nd sales order of 120 qty but here the system is allowing me to save the order & conforming whole 120 qty for the same date. Actually as per my knowledge it should hv been confirmed 100 only.

That means while running availability check system is not taking open orders into account.

In checking rule..sales requirement tick is there..

Hi,

Try to do following suggestions above. If it not work, pls set Schedule line category is CP, and in Material master, tab MRP1, set MRP type in box MRP Procedure is PD.

Check whether requirements checkbox is checked in schedule line category (VOV6) and requirements class (OVZG).

Dear hari om

Go to material master MRP3 view for which you have created sale order. Check what is maintained there for the field "Availability check".

Ensure that in checking rule also, you have selected the same combination. For example, in material master, if you maintain 02, in checking rule also, you should select the combination "02:::A".
