Hi Guru's

In my business scanerio, i have an project in which there is sub- activity( eg planing, designing, testing etc. all are service activity) my resouces ( employee in service project) will be allocated in subactivity level & their invoice should be raise at the top level.

Do i need to create network profile /network. pls tel me the each t-code & step one b one.

Pls. suggest me how to proceed.

To create activities or sub activities you need network to be created. There is no alternative. Further, please follow IMG for configuration and SAP Menu of processing transactions.

Hi,

You want to collect cost at network header level ???

If so then,

Maintain network type in OPSC.

Maintain parameters in OPUV and donot select "activity acct assignment" check box.

Create netwok profile in OPUU and maintain netwok type in this and complete the required parameters in other tabs also.

1) How to create network?

2) How to assign sub activity to the network & subactivity to subactivity wbs element?

3) How do we assign the sub activity WBS element to project WBS element?

4) How do we get the cost/ revenue of indivitual activity? &

5) we want the only one invoice should be raised to customer at top level.

These things can not be explained in thie forum. You need to get a PS consultant to do this.....I am really sorry I can not help you beyond this.

Cn21 to create network.

Go to activity overview and create activities.

I have not understood subactivity part(2 & 3).

You can bring cost to these activity either by confirming or thu POs.

But you cannot collect revenue at network level.

Hi ,

Now,

1) i can create project by -code cj2d & can have an wbs element of it.

2) i can create network with t-code cn21

3) i can assign the activity under network by go thru activity overview.

now my problem is how can i assign the resouces in the activity ???

once i assign the resouce in activity , i can create contract & sales order then invoices.

To assign resource goto activity and give work center,work and duration. now u can see tht person assignment tab,and assign the resource and give duration or work to it and save.

presently there is no work centre exist in the master as it is a new process.

pls advice wat to do now.

work center is necessary.if work center is not there, person assignment tab is not seen. so go to cnr1 t.c and create work center.
