REWORK/REPLACEMENT SCENERIO

Hi,

This is Manish. Here i am with the some jobwork rework problem. Scenerio is as follows.

1) I have some material e.g. ms sheet 12mm. & i send it to vendor for jobwork.

2) I had recieved the object from vendor i.e finish good.

3) i took GR & reconcile the challan fully.

4) Now this object goes for production purpose, where i saw that job get fractured or defective.

5) Now i want to send that job again to that vendor for rework or replacement as per agreement with vendor.But i had alrready took Gr & reconcile challan

6) So now how i could send that job to vendor & take with new or rework one without any cost.

So, is there any std. scenerio which match with above one or any procedure so that i could do above things?

If u can suggest then please go for it.

hi,

As per my view you shd SCRAP the qty at vendor place....

Use the proper mvt type....

When you get the new part make entry for revision....so that you can track it with last one.....

Hi,

You need to return the Finished material either by canceling the GR or by return.

After rework agai you can receive the material in the system.
