Asset Inter company transfer

can any body Please tell me how to transfer 1000 assets from one compny code to another company code

Hi Jay,

In the table ANLA you can found the asset nummers and download them to EXCEL.

In EXCEL you can ad values to it like Cost center

You make an LSMW for to transfer the assets to another company code.

To know how the transfer variant are working you have a look to Sap note 327088

Hi Jay

The transfer variant is doing a retirement in the from company and a aquasition in the the to company.

In Oss note 327088 explain the variant that you can use. The one you need is dependend from your requirements.

Transaction ABT1N - Intercompany Asset Transfer. In the tab Additional details you can fill in the transfer variant. Pay attention on the field Asset val date

I think you will use variant 1 or 2. You can test the varaint in your test system. It is possible to do use it in the production system and look to posting the system will create without saving the transaction
