Hi
How to create multple Factory Calander. The requirement is we hv one comp code. Under this we have 6 plants. Need to assign each factory calander to each plant. Also out of 6 plant one plant having 2 locations. Also want to maintain different factory calander to these 2 locations.
Explain me the steps with SPRO setting s and procedures.

Ram
hi,
Factory cal. is defined at plant level..you can maintain it in SCAL tcode..
A calender has to be defined to each and every plant to decide about the plants holidays and workdays.Unless a plant is
having a calender it will not be in a position to decide about its schedule upon its operations.
Hence a factory calender will be created and will be assigned to the plant.
Here holidays will be created and assigned to the holiday calender and in turn the holiday calender will be assigned to
the factory calender.Factory calender will be assigned to the plant .
Based upon the holidays provided ,during the transactions system prompts.....
hope it helps...

Hi
Maintain the factory Calendar in transaction SCAL
SPRO-> IMG->
Assign the Factory calendar to the Plants in
SPRO-> IMG-> Enterprose structure-> Define-> Logistics general -> Define Plant.
You cannot assign factory Calendars to the Locations.
So you can maintain only one factory calendar to the locations
Thanks & Regards
Kishore

Hi Ram,
First define the factory calendar in SCAL.
then, define holiday calendar (assume this as plants)
Now, assign holiday calendar to your factory calendar.
Caution: This is cross-client customizing.

Suresh
