Categorisation at an aggregated level using Virtual Characteristics

I am asking because I cant believe nobody else has had this requirements and I can not think of any solution.

Required Output :-

Table to show the Average Cost of Products sold by Product Type across Month.

Presentation is via BEx Analyzer not web.

Product Type | Banding | Month1 | Month2 | Month3

ABCDEF | 0 - 100 | 75 | 65 | 99

ABCDEF | 101 - 200 | 132 | 156 | 187

DEFGHI | 0 - 100 | 33 | 22 | 11

DEFGHI | 101 - 200 | 123 | 111 | 121

The cube granularity is at the lowest Product ID Level. The Banding Characteristic is virtual and needs to be calculated after the query has finished aggregating.

I know how to do it at a record level just not at an aggregated level.

Thanks

Mark

I have solved my own thread. Using aggregates together with Virtual Characteristics to meet the requirements.
