Testing through CATT/eCATT

Hi Gurus

We have been successful in mapping the business processes in Solman and config is also complete albeit not through Solman but manually.We have set the indicator for config for each process as Finished.

Now we are trying to run the standard eCATT / CATT Test Scripts in Solman but its not routing through respective T codes.It simply give the Successful/Error results.Whereas in case of manual test cases T code is called and testing happens successfully.Please help.Thanks in advance.

Dear Sharmista,

"Hav u check the RFC connections....provided while running ECATT scripts in the System Data container or SDC

When you execute an ecatt it uses this SDC which has the satellite system details.

Also check that eCATT execution is permitted in the client.

Thanks for your reply.

RFCs are set up.

Wanted to know whether we have to prepare any SDCs ourselves or we assign the standard ones as provided by SAP?And if we have to assign standard ones which one should it be?How do we know?

Sharmista,

No body knows in advance which system you are goind to use it...therefore no chance of std System data container.

So goto SECATT transaction and create a system data container with RFC name and system name.

Now come to test workbench execute the test case......In the pop up select the system data container and press execute ....U can choose mode also.
