My client needs to add buyer's details as mandatory in PO,

For there 2 options

1.Through User ID & Purchasing Group.

He is not in possion to use these 2 options.

So i have suggested i will search 2 fields in Header, where u will enter those details.

But i couldn't able to find out... already they are using communication tab fields.

Plz help me out in this

What Buyer Information you want to Use other than Purchasing Group Field in Purchase Order Header.

By the by Purchasing Group is a Mandatory Field in Creating Purchase Order..

Purchasing group they used to enter

they want to enter buyer name, contact number & mail id..

In Purchasing group ( they have already grouped like rm,pm, service & assets ) now they can't able to change

Hi Satya,

Check out if you can make use of Texts Tab in Item Level.

However, you can't make it mandatory. User needs to go there and keyin the Buyer details. You can create a (New) Item Texts by naming it as Buyer Details.

this should be ok.

MM06E005 Customer fields in purchasing documents

Maintain any number of required fields in the enhancement.

A new Tab Customer data will apapera in the heder. Make them as required entries at the time of PO Creation.
