Price List Group

Dear All,

Can anyone please explain what is the use of group in the price list.Because I changed the group in the price list, and it is not reflected in any of the documents.

Hi Pratheeviraj,

Do you mean the Discount Groups under Price List - Special Prices?

If yes, then this group will only affect special prices you setup under this menu. Price list in common is not subject to it.

Thanks for your replay. Group means in the price list window. Like Price list name, Base price, Factor, Rounding method, GROUP.

Group in Pricelist

A price list is assigned to a group, with which you can control access rights when maintaining a price list.

Only authorized users can maintain a price list.

Have a look at

Administration -> System initialization -> Authorization -> Genral Authorization Window

Naviage to Inventory -> pricelsit and you may set the required Authorizatrion for the Pricelist Group
