Difference between UCBATCH00 & UCBATCH01

Dear BCS Experts

Can any expert tell me what is the difference between UCBATCH00 & UCBATCH01, i.e. when to use either of the programs.

After executing either of the programs will it be possible to send mails to emails id.

Does this any of the program generate spool, as my abap consultant told me, if any program generate spool, then the spool file can send as mail.

It is my understanding that UCBATCH01 is an improved version of UCBATCH00. I am not familiar with the differences, but have used UCBATCH00 successfully many times.
