Factory calender change

User wants to change the factory say X which in work cntre factory calender id .

He wants Close the calender between

included 22.12.2008 - 06.01.2009 and

28.12.2009 - 06.01.2010.

i checked the factory calender is assigned to the plant is Y.Means plant and work centre calender is not the same.

Is is possible to close the period between 22.12.2008 - 06.01.2009 and 28.12.2009 - 06.01.2010?

Second question what is impact

(on planning,schduling,capacity planning) of changing the factory calender ID of the work center?

Dear,

Factory calender and work center calander should be same.

Then system will do the scheduling and cpacity planning accordingly. If you canhe the Id it will do scheduling according to the new calender.

This depends on MM-Fi settings. They have to create period accordingly which u can close through MMPV. Like one of my claint is using 15 periods in a year.
