How to short close a Service PO

Hi Gurus,

How to short close a Service PO like we do for Stock PO by ticking Delivery Completed Indicator.

Dear,

At the time of service entrt sheet creation against service po with ML81N.

First go Entry Sheet option, Click on Set Status as Final Entry.

Is there any option to Quantity wise short close?

Like i had given 12 months service quantity to vendor he had claim 3 months invoice & further 6 month he will also work (invoice work both pending) can we short close only balance 3 month remaining Quantity ?

If i close it in service entry will a voucher be created ??? will it hit finance ??

Nothing will happed you close service po, There will be no financial impects.

Go to Service Entry Sheet (T code) ML81N and Select Menu Entry sheet and Select Set Status as Final Entry and Save.

Hi

At the time of service entry sheet creation against service po with ML81N if we flag the service entry as final entry then we will not be able to do any further processing of the Service PO line item.

Hi,

If u used the Frame work PO document type for the Service PO.

Then change the validity of the PO to short close it.

If u have used the standard Po option then change the qty of the sevices to availed till date.

check ur last service entry for that Po and in ML81N set final entry indicator

In ML81N you will get the final entry indicator(ctrl+F5).By using this you can short close the service order.
