Hi All,

Can microsoft outlook be accessed by sap running on a linux server.

If Yes, can anyone throw me some light on it or provide me some links.

Can you explain little bit more, what is the purpose of using outlook?

for mail which sent using sap server?

Hi Kaushal,

What i meant to convey is whether a mail can be sent from sap running on linux to any mail server outside like ms exchange without any additional settings or configuration?

You have to configure SMTP on a SAP System.

check SAP Note 455140 - Configuration of e-mail, fax, paging or SMS using SMTP
