Hello Experts,

if i am not passing the program name in reuse_alv_grid_display or list_display. what problem may be occured.

HI,

it will not give any error. it will work fine. when u display only result.

if u want do some operations like when u display interactive alv at that time rest of options will not be work.

The program name(sy-repid) is required if you use the function module "REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE" to display any logos. If sy-repid is not passed, the logo wont be displayed.

In this case you will lost all procedures, which defined in programm (commentary, events, user command, status set, variants, etc ...)

It mean, your data will be displayed in grid, but but nothing else will work in report.

list and grid ALV's will work fine, but interactive list will not work properly. I tried with interactive alv it is not working properly

While making use of the below function module also it will not run until and unless program name is given

REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE
