Dear all!

I want to create a vendor master code as alphanumeric (external) for 0001 account group with more than 10 digits. In OMSJ i gave the number range as XX.

Now i dont know how to define the number range for XX.

I gave as : From A - 0 To Z - 9. and ticked in external tab.

Now when i create the vendor master system is taking only if i create a code starting as "A". But i need it as i can start with any alphabet.

Again whether i can create vendor code for more than 10 dihits?

Thanks in advance,

Raj.

Give no ranges as from 0000000001to 9999999999 as Internal and

from A to ZZZZZZ as External.

Hi as an addition vendor id is 10 digits length.

dataelement LIFNR is 10 digits.

You cannot increase that length.

If you change the dataelement size you will encouter quite a huge list of troubles.

Hope Your Number range Length is Set to 10 Digits.

Now Go to OMSJ and Create Number range Interval XX and Start from A to ZZZZZZZZ and Save.

Hello

To make the vendor number range more than 10space go to SNRO

Change the number length domain in object KREDITOR.
