Period description in Data View

Hi SAP Experts,

Currently i am working on SCM 5.0 Version.

I have maintain fiscal year variant with 12 months period which start from say Apr.2008 & end with Mar.2009.

But whenever i look in to data view, it shows P01.2008,P02.2008 etc. Instead of this description i would like to see Apr.2008,May 2008.........Mar.2009.

Can anybody tell me how can i achive this?

Hi,

In the edit mode of planning book/data view, select the period labelling as "U- Labeling by User Exit", here we can define the column headings with user exit APODM006 (Use user exit to control column labeling). For example, instead of specifying a date, you can enter a text of your choice.

Hi Sujay.

There is an enhancement to modify header data. No system to check at the moment, but you can find it in the IMG under Demand Planning->Enhancements, or I'm sure someone will jump on the back of this t give you the actual anhancement name.

Don't think there is any other way apart from the standard available Bucket Start/Bucket end dates which you can set by right-clicking on the column headers in the planning book.
