Crystal Report Folder

Former Member

Hi All,

I have a basic doubt, that i have made some crystal reports and stored in one folder on server. But when i access that reports from client, it gives error. But when i copied the same folder at same location on client it works fine.

Will i have to paste that folder on all clients who will need those reports? or any setting is there to access it from server only.

Regards,

Ashish

Crystal Report must have a default folder setting. Find it and change it to the the one you need.

The folder has to be shared to allow access.

Dear sir,

Now i have pasted this folder in B1 SHR which is a share. still its giving same error

"Invalid Directory:"

then i made the pasted folder as share itself. still the problem persists.

Hi Ashish,

The problem probably caused by network authorization. Make sure the user have proper access to the network folder. Then you don't need to copy report to local.

Thanks,

Sir,

I have checked this already. No network authorisation restriction is there. I have copied the folder to

C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One

on server. Will it fine? or have to make this folder share one?

Ashish
