cant access SLD

Hi, I am accessing our BI system in java, http://<hostname>:<port>/sld

and it says "You do not have permission to view the System Landscape Directory. Minimum required: UME role with permission com.sap.lcr.LcrUser and J2EE role LcrUser. See the SLD Post-Installation Guide for details."

When we previously set up our system, we only registered it in a central SLD in a different server (XI), Do i need to manually set up a local sld?

Hi Ryan,

No need for a local SLD.For permission issue check below link there should be a user in the system with the SLD with sufficient authorization.

Ashok, after reading this thread, I cant add the j2ee_admin user to the SAP_SLD_Aministrator Group, the add button is unclickable after searching for the group and the user.

Also, there is no sap.com_com.sap or any actions at all in my user admin. How can I determine / where could I change the client that the java defaultly connects to?/ or the "source and backend client" you guys are referring to? Thanks

Hi Ashok and Sergo, thanks for the answers, while im doing that. Do you have an idea what will I put in the visual administrator -> "SID" -> Server xx -> Services -> Configuration adaptor -> CTC -> Propertysheet SystemProperties for the SLD aspects?

The SLD_ADMIN user > user in our XI server or our BI server?

SLD_HOST > hostname of our XI or BI?

SLD_PASSWD > password of whom? ..Thanks

Hi Ryan,

The SLD_ADMIN user > user in our XI server

SLD_HOST > hostname of our XI

SLD_PASSWD > password of SLD_ADMIN user
