assembly processing profit center

Dear all,

i trigger the project by saving the sales order.

there is a problem.

when i check the project using CJ20N, i found that the profit center is DUMMY in the basic data.

the profit center should be automatically genenrated in line with the material.

could you give me some hints how can i get it done?

in the material master data? in the project profile ?please give me some hints.

hello judy,

Please check profit center in account assignment tab of sales order. If DUMMY profit center is there there it must be the problem of CO substitution rule.

Take the help of your CO consultant to write the logic accordingly to get the desired profit center.

The profit centre does not flow directly from the Sales Order. You can use a substitution rule to do the needful.

But for that some logic needs to be

there. For eg : If WBS is billable, then Profit centre should be .....

it cannot be maintained in the std WBS.

it has serveral profit centers, they should be in line with the order type. but i haven't found the connection yet.

i think the system will determine the profit center in his logic.

profit center of the sales order is not DUMMY.but the profit center of the project is DUMMY

Hi Judy,

In assembly processing profit centre will not move from sale order to projects.

For this you have to write a program that will transfer your organisation data from sale order to projects.
