JSPM can not start

Hello Experts,

I can not start JSPM thro go.bat .

error :

The system cannot find the path specified.

ERROR: could not update JSPM

Press any key to continue . . .

kindly suggest me for solution.

Hello,

The problem is that you have neither JAVA_HOME nor path to the java executable set on your host. There are two solutions. Either set JAVA_HOME or add to your %PATH% environment variable path to the <JAVA_HOME>/bin. The first solution is most common.

Hi Surya,

You need to login with <SID>ADM user id to start JSPM.where SID is your instance id.

Hi,

Check out for the error in log file of the current logon session,

JSPM_PROCESS_<XXX>.LOG or JSPM_MAIN_<XXXX>.LOG.

which can be located in log directory under JSPM folder.
