PPPM - Maintain Profile

HI Team,

I have a very specific requirement.

I have create a custom object called 'ZQ - Qualification Profile'. This object will be assigned to positions & also to different qualification and in turn the positions will inherit the qualifications. This is being used for grouping, we unable to use Job as it has been defined in a diff. way.

Now, I want to assign qualification to this object ZQ. Generally we assign qualifications to objects like position or jobs through PPPM. But Im unable to do the same for ZQ as this object is not visible in the top left part of the screen in the selection / find option. Is there a way where I can get the ZQ object here in the 'find by' section or is there any other way I can assign qualifcation to ZQ object.

PS: I tried PP01, it says it cannot be maintained through basic transcation. I dont think by unchecking the check box in the table is the best way to maintain this IT.?

Pls. let me know if there is another way?
