New Payscale doesnt show in PA30

I added a new Payscale Group/Level in table V_T510, but it doesnt show up in PA30 when i try to bring it up with the same combo of Payscale type+area. I must be missing some other config, anyone have an idea?

I would start by checking the effective date of the new payscale group/level and the effective date of the record you are trying to create using PA30.

For effective date for creating new basic pay i gave start of 2008 and for start date of new group its in june of this year. So they are in the past.

TARIF looks fine and it would just default the payscale type and area. My problem is with the PS group and level.

If I am understanding you correctly, the effective date of the new basic pay record will need to be AFTER the effective date of the new group in June. If you use the beginning of 2008, it will never recognize the new group. Therefore, couldn't you just use the beginning of 2008 for both?
